Known for their strength and reliability, Stabil Drill stabilizers are designed to help maximize ROP while minimizing drilling cost per foot.
Proven in tens of thousands of wells worldwide, Stabil Drill stabilizers help make more progress more quickly, control unintentional sidetracking (deviation) and reduce vibration. All of our stabilizers are designed and made in-house, composed of either high-quality stainless AISI 4145H modified heat-treated steel and non-magnetic material. And each features a high-performance hard-facing that lets you get more from every run.
Stabil Drill offers a wide variety of stabilizer configurations and dimensions—each carefully specified by our BHA experts to help maximize the performance of your specific drill string. All with components conforming to some of the industry’s most rigorous quality measures.
Stabil Drill also offers a number of options for hardfacing your stabilizer—including tungsten, tungsten half-rounds or quick-tips, as well as our own custom-engineered Stabil-Tech™ premium tungsten carbide inserts surrounded by Technogenia-applied hard metal. Integral Spiral Blade or Straight Blade
Made using one-piece construction, these tough tools are perfect for hard formations—providing 360-degree surface contact for maximum ROP. They help reduce torque and vibration, extending the life of MWD and LWD components. Available in three to five blades.
Non-Magnetic
Our non-magnetic stabilizers are composed of premium non-magnetic material, and used primarily for directional drilling applications that require magnetically isolated components.
Sleeve-Type
Rigorously constructed and designed for fast-track prep, Stabil Drill’s sleeve-type stabilizers offer interchangeable sleeves and mandrels. These tools are often specified for sites located in remote areas without nearby repair facilities.
Welded Spiral or Straight Blade
For soft and medium-hardness drilling applications, Stabil Drill also offers high-performance welded straight blade stabilizers that deliver strong performance every time. Available in three to five blades.
